The Board of Intermediate Education will allow Intermediate students who appeared for public exams in March this year to know their marks subject-wise. It has decided to post the marks on all websites that provide Intermediate results expected to be announced between April 20 and 25.
Nearly 70 websites provide Intermediate results every year. Till now, students knew about their marks only through BSNL IVRS (Interactive Voice Response Systems). All the websites simply displayed grades. Even the results CDs released to the media by the Inter board only contained grades.
It became a tough task for students to know the marks since BSNL failed to cope up with the huge demand from lakhs of students.
Meanwhile, the Inter board is contemplating to provide marks even on mobile phones.
