AICTE Has Bombed Management Institutions With Its New Norms

The situation is grim for MBA aspirants as AICTE bans many of the important management entrance exams such as XAT, ATMA, and MICAT and engineers seem to score better in CAT. IIMs have, finally, revealed their scoring patterns and are taking steps to equate its admission process to students from all streams of education. Private management institutes too seem to grow discontented over new AICTE norms.

However, there has been a breather for 44 deemed universities, with an enrollment of over 2 lakh students, which are under the threat of being de-recognized because of the deficiencies in their infrastructure, facilities, and faculty, as per the regulations. Moreover, Kapil Sibal has announced that Indian students will be able to study on net in next two years.
